The photos of West Virginia wasteland disney shirt bring back good memories. Loved to go to the Sterling for ice box pie after the movies. These are so nice, but why isn’t Mullens, in WYOMING COUNTY ever shown. My husband of 42 years has told about all the businesses that were there, several grocery stores, bus lines, so much. I would so love to see some of those pictures on here or just FB even. Worked for Chhessie system back then. We put in ties on railroad up there. Had a real nice resuarant then but can’t remember the name . Had good hamburgers stacked a mile high. Not like the burgers you get today. The 70’s were awesome times to grow up in.

Zooming around town on my schwinn 3 speed with that banana seat, the big whip with an orange flag and baseball cards in the spokes to make it doing like a motorcycle. Wish it were like the West Virginia wasteland disney shirt now. Clothier is actually in Logan County. Right on the county line. It still looks mostly the same. Today kids don’t even play outside, they really don’t know how to, and can’t get phones out of hands long enough to anyways. We had it so good back then, I think all would agree to that. I miss them days, they seem so long ago sometimes.

Today’s world needs to slow down, take a step back in time, get rid of a lot of technology and learn how to enjoy life again. We’ve advanced to a point that we’ve forgot how to live, communicate with others, enjoy simple pleasures, love our families, have true friends , and fear and respect God ! I personally would give anything just to have been able to have raised my kids in that world that I remember as a child, for them to have experienced a simpler life, and enjoyed it the way I did. But sadly enough those days are gone, and this hell that we’ve made is what they’ll have to remember when they get older, Where are we headed now, God only knows ! The first little town you see there is Clothier, WV on the Boone, Logan line and it was a real boom town.
I was born at St Luke’s hospital in Bluefield WV and spent time with relatives there and other parts during the 40’s. Wonderful memories. But…..look around, small towns suffered everywhere when the interstates were built. Nothing will ever be like it used to be! We used to leave our doors unlocked! Not anymore, drugheads have taken over. My town has been hit 4 times, 3 being major, and no longer live there! I wish we could go back to those West Virginia wasteland disney shirt!
